With You
Fall is coming. Those three words, for some, bring fear. For others they bring excitement. And for still others they bring comfort. Going to university can be stressful, and scary even because its a new phase of life and an unknown. It can also be an exciting time because you get to do new things and meet new people, and blaze a new trail. Last but not least, if you're in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year and you've found your community on campus then the thought of going back can bring comfort.
Regardless of which category you find yourself in, or how you're feeling you can get ready for the fall knowing that Christ is God with us. He is Immanuel. This means He's with you in the high's and low's of life. In the good, the bad, and the in between. So when you go, you don't go alone. You go with Him, because He goes with you.
For this reason we don't have to live life in fear of anything, because with Christ we can do all things and He hasn't given us a spirit of fear. Instead He gives courage, love, peace and joy. So as you gear up, remember that you are not alone now, and you will never be. Every step you take on your campus can be one taken next to the God who is, in all things, with you.
Be Blessed.
